An opinion poll released by Intel Research Solutions (IRS) on Tuesday, July 5, revealed that Roots Party flagship George Wajackoyah was eating the numbers from UDA presidential candidate William Ruto.
According to the survey results, Ruto’s popularity dropped from 51.2 percent in a previous poll released by the IRS on June 19 to 49.9 percent, a drop of 1.3 percentage points.
Wajackoya benefited most from this drop in popularity, with the rankings revealing that he was preferred by 2.8% of voters, an upward trajectory of 0.9%.
Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga maintained his popularity at 42.5%.
The popularity of Agano presidential candidate David Mwaure increased by 0.4 percentage points to 1.1%. The number of undecided voters increased by 0.1 percent.
